If you want to use the microphone feature to speak with MemBot, you will need to enable microphone permissions for Memrise. When you first click to use the microphone within a conversation, Memrise will ask for permission to access your microphone.
If you selected 'Don't Allow' and you wish to enable microphone permissions for Memrise, you can do so by following the instructions below:
Android
- Visit your device's ⚙ Settings
- Scroll down and select Apps
- Select Memrise. If you can't see it, tap See all apps.
- Select Permissions
- Allow Microphone
iOS
- Visit your device's ⚙ Settings
- Scroll down and select Privacy
- Tap Microphone and find Memrise in the list of apps
- Tap on the slider to enable microphone permissions
Please note: If Memrise doesn't appear in your Privacy settings on your iOS device, it means you haven't clicked to use the microphone on Communicate yet. Memrise will not appear in your device's Microphone list unless you have clicked on the microphone feature within a MemBot conversation.
